Open Days, Events & Volunteer Days

Please note that there are now restrictions on parking on Carriageway Drive which should be observed.

Sunday 16th April  -  Easter Sunday & Bunny Hunt  - Join us on Easter Sunday for our next Open Day. Adults £2.00 – Children enter free.  We will be running our usual Bunny Hunt which will cost £2.00 per child (One booking per child only please).  Each child taking part will receive an Easter Egg. We currently have 120 places, over half of which have already been pre-booked as at the 29th March. In addition there will be Birds of Prey, Stalls, Refreshments, History Tours.  Please note that Dogs will not be permitted in the Grounds at this event.  We would also ask that you ensure your children keep to the footpaths and do not climb the trees.

Volunteers Days

Next Volunteer Day  -  Sunday 23rd April  (St. George’s Day)

Volunteers should arrive from 10:00am and can assist in various jobs in the grounds. Other specific jobs may be arranged. Volunteers days are being re-arranged under the control of the Grounds Sub-Commitee. Please come in suitable clothing for the day and bring whatever refreshments are required. Please note that the day will end approximately 4:00 pm or earlier depending on the number of Volunteers present. There is no need to stay all afternoon but it would be helpful if you can advise the time you propose to attend. Email: secretary.fbh@hotmail.co.uk

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is given of our Annual General Meeting which will take place at the VM Centre (Bowling Club), School Lane, Longton, at 7.30 pm on Monday 5th June. We e expecting to have a guest speaker and a presentation after the formal proceedings.  This is a public meeting.

Please note that if the restoration work commences on the Hall in 2017, we will have restricted access and we may not be able to run our normal events or some changes may have to be made to them. Please monitor our website for details or contact us – See Contacts page.
